In Nursery our RE topic is ’Special People’. We have been thinking about many different types of special people in our lives – people at home, people in school and people who help us. This week we were fortunate to have a visit from a very special person, Reverend Yvonne. She brought in lots of wonderful artefacts to show us to help us understand her job. Nursery listened so well to Reverend Yvonne and enjoyed exploring the items she brought in. We explored the characters of the nativity, heard the story of the loaves and fishes and even tried on some of the clothes worn by priests in church at different times during the year. The children really enjoyed meeting Reverend Yvonne.
