The children in Nursery have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week. All throughout the week the children have focussed their learning around the 5 chosen nursery rhymes for this year – 5 Little Speckled Frogs, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The Big Ship Sails and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive.
At the end of the week we invited our families to come and join us to sing our Nursery rhymes together and to stay and play with us. We couldn’t resist adding in a couple of our other favourite Nursery Rhymes too. They joined in with our daily phonics activity as well and were very impressed with our listening skills.
