Year 5 had great fun at the Discovery Museum. During the morning session they learned about changes in Newcastle over the last few centuries, how the river has been used over time and they investigated the history of the army. After a well deserved lunch they were able to use their knowledge of friction in science to design and make their own air powered cars.
