Sculpture inspired by Barbara Hepworth

This half term in art, we have been looking at the artwork of sculptor Barbara Hepworth. We talked about her abstract style and noticed that she often uses wood, stone or clay to create small- and large-scale sculptures that are displayed in galleries and outdoor environments. She was inspired by nature and once commented that her love of curved shapes was inspired by rolling hills in the countryside. We used clay and Mod Roc to create our own sculptures inspired by Barbara Hepworth.
