In RE this half term, Year 4 have been learning about Hinduism.
This week the children have learnt about how Hindus show their faith within their families. They have looked at a collection of objects you might find in a Hindu’s home and why, for example, murtis, a family shrine, statue and pictures of deities, puja tray including incense, fruit, bells, flowers, candles, some sacred texts. The children enjoyed exploring these and have discovered what they mean, how they are used and why.
