Today was a very special day for Year 4. Some children received communion for the very first time. The day started with a lovely service led by Rev. Yvonne in the school hall. We listened to a Bible reading and prayers read by our friends before the children received the Body and Blood of Christ through Communion.
The children were presented with special certificates and gifts. We finished the service by performing a liturgical dance to ‘All the way my Saviour leads me’ which was absolutely fantastic.
After the service, the children enjoyed a special cake as a treat to celebrate all of our special day!
Congratulations to all the Year 4 children who were received their first holy communion today and thank you to all parents and carers for attending our special service.
