This week Year 3 have enjoyed celebrating World Book Week. We started off our week by walking to Dunston Library to have a look around before choosing a book to bring back to school and read. We were able to look at how the library was organised and learnt about the importance of signing out the books. On Wednesday we invited our parents into our school library to read with us. It was so lovely to share some of our favourites with our families and to show them one of our favourite places in school. Today we were able to come into school dressed as our favourite characters. There has been such a selection from Harry Potter to Billionaire Boy, from Belle to Dorothy. After a special World Book Day assembly we headed off to Nursery to share some stories with the youngest members of our school. It was lovely to share our love of reading with them.
