We are very proud of our forest school here at St. Aidan’s. Children in all year groups enjoy their regular, hands-on learning experiences in a natural outdoor environment.
Through these sessions, we aim to foster children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development through exploration, play, and practical activities.
The forest school approach encourages curiosity, resilience, independence, and a strong connection with nature, supporting holistic growth beyond traditional classroom learning.
The forests school has had significant impact on our pupils and encourages sensory learning, benefiting children with different learning styles.
