Year 1 loved their first PE lesson and were especially excited to take part outside on the yard. The lesson began with the children practising important skills such as listening carefully to instructions, following them accurately and stopping straight away when the whistle was blown. They did an excellent job and showed great focus throughout. The children then learned how to perform an underarm throw with a beanbag and enjoyed practising throwing and catching with a partner, as well as challenging themselves to throw and catch the beanbag independently. Everyone worked hard, had lots of fun and showed a fantastic attitude to learning.
