This week in Maths, Year 2 have been rehearsing their number bonds to 10. The children started by singing a fun number bonds song to the tune of Frère Jacques, before playing some oral maths games with Mrs Gourley. They then enjoyed a hands-on game using Uno cards, where they flipped a card and had to find the number needed to make 10, placing a counter on the correct answer. Everyone worked hard, showed great mathematical thinking, and had lots of fun while learning!
