Year 3 have really enjoyed their first two lessons of invasion games in PE. They have been developing their passing skills by practising different types of throws, including the bounce pass, chest pass and shoulder pass. The children began by learning and practising the correct techniques for each throw, focusing on accuracy, control and how to use their bodies effectively. They then progressed to moving with the ball and passing to their peers, developing their ability to communicate, find space and work as a team. The children have shown great enthusiasm and are beginning to apply these skills confidently in game situations.
