This week in R.E we listened to the story of John The Baptist and asked if anybody had attended or been christened. To help us understand more about this we visited our own chapel in school. At the chapel we were able to see the font where the person or baby is welcomed into the church, through the special christening service. We then acted out our own Christening service.
Candles are an important part of a christening so we made our own by rolling card and securing the edges with tape and decorated them.
