On Monday we had the pleasure of welcoming the pupils, parents and teachers of San Giovanni Bosco school in Thiene, Italy. We started off our day with a special welcome assembly in which we told our visitors all about our school, our local area and even sang a song for them in Italian!
The children from San Giovanni Bosco school were then split between Year 5 and Year 6 for the morning. In each of the classes they played games, learnt about each others’ cultures, spent time in forest school and sang some local songs! It was so lovely to make lots of new friends which we hope we will be able to see again soon.
