Year 3 have been practicing their Italian each week and can now remember how to say ten animals names as well as how to say “I am a…” and then the animal name. This week we tested our knowledge by matching the animals names to their pictures on paper to ensure that we have learnt not just how to say each animal name but also how to spell it. The children have enjoyed playing a guess who type game where we chose an animal to be and the rest of the class had to guess what it was, for example “sono un leone” which means “I am a lion.”
