Coding

In Computing Year 4 have started a coding unit. The children learnt that coding is a method of giving a computer instructions to complete a specific task. These instructions are communicated using a language the computer can understand.

Using a programme called ‘Free Code Gibbon’, the children were able to add a variety of objects, including an animal, a button, a car and a turtle. They then added an ‘event’ and the appropriate instructions to enable their animal to move across the screen.
