Year 6 have been lucky enough to have their chapel service with Rev. Yvonne this morning.
In our worship this week our theme is the baptism of Jesus. The children read from the Gospel of Matthew, reminding us about the important event held by Jesus’ cousin John the Baptist.
Within the service Rev. Yvonne talked about Jesus being referred to as a sacrificial lamb, and the importance of lambs in the Jewish religion.
The children, as always, listened attentively, answered questions accurately and sang beautifully. It was a wonderful start to the day.
