This week’s adventures in Nursery…

WOW! What a busy week we have had in Nursery!

In our Literacy lesson, we read the story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. In our tuft tray, we picked flowers for Granny, just like what Red Riding Hood does in the story, when she walks through the forest to her Granny’s house. In the small world area, we played with Red Riding Hood and other fairytale characters.

In Maths, we looked at the number 2. We used pegs to pair socks together and found 2 objects in the classroom.

Today, with this weekend being the memorial of the Holocaust, we baked some delicious Jewish plaited bread and thought about the people who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

Earlier in the week when it was windy, the children also enjoyed flying their own paper airplanes. Some of them blew away that fast, that we couldn’t catch them!
