The children in year 3 love their computing lessons and look forward to each week’s lesson to find out which new skill we are learning that day! This half term we have been looking at coding and the children are becoming extremely competent with their coding skills. This week we focused on using the “repeat” command to make a turtle draw a square. The children were amazed with the instant results and then began experimenting to try and alter the size of the square, the amount of turtles which were moving around and also the speed in which the turtles were moving. Super work year 3!
