On Friday Mr Merritt, our chair of Governors, came to visit the Year 4 children with a very special request.
Part of the school playground has been fenced off while some work has taken place on the neighbouring house. With the work now complete, Mr Merritt has asked Year 4 to write a letter to our MP Mr. Ian Mearns asking for the fence to be removed.
This week in English, Year 4 will learn to write a formal letter and will write a letter to Mr Mearns.
We hope that Mr Mearns will help speed up the process of removing the fencing. We’ll keep you informed!
