This week in our RE lesson, we learnt about Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday is an exciting day for Christians. They want to tell everyone that Jesus is not dead: he is alive forever. Christians celebrate this in many different ways.
One of our activities today was to take part in an Easter egg hunt. Miss Pegram hid the eggs around the classroom and once the children found one, they had to put it into our special ‘chatterbox’. At the end of the hunt, we found that there were chocolate sheep inside of the eggs! As a treat at snack time, we ate these with our milk!
In the Art area, we created flower pictures using colourful paint, to symbolise Jesus rising and new life.
