In RE this half term, we are going to be looking at special books from The Bible. Over the next few weeks, we will be reading and exploring these books and learning about why they are special.
Today in our lesson, Miss Bannon read her favourite story and explained to the children why she enjoys reading it. Tom and Tessa from our Chatterbox then wanted to know what our favourite stories are and why. We took out some stories we have already read in Nursery as guidance and then discussed as a class what we like about that particular story.
Some of us then used our favourite book front cover as reference to design our own front cover about our favourite story. We then enjoyed lots of reading time in our cosy, reading area with friends.
