Science – How does blood get around our body?

This half term in Science, we are learning about the circulatory system and how blood gets around our body. This afternoon, after looking at diagrams and reading about the different parts of a mammal’s heart, we enjoyed dissecting hearts to take a closer look! We were able to find the four chambers of the heart as well as identify the pulmonary vein, pulmonary artery, aorta and vena cava.
