Frieze Frames

As part of our Ancient Greek myths topic in English, we have been reading and discussing Odysseus and the Cyclops. We sequenced images of the story, verbally retelling the story in partners. Then in groups, we created a frieze frame for different key events using our facial expressions and body language to show the action and how the characters were feeling. Finally, we added speech bubbles to our frieze frames with dialogue that the characters may say. Later in this unit of work, we will be translating these speech bubbles into written dialogue using inverted commas correctly to punctuate speech.
