Remembrance Day

Today we learned about why people wear poppies. Mrs Stott asked us if we knew the name of this special flower and we talked about how some of us are wearing them today. We looked at what a poppy looks like and watched a short animation that helped us to understand what the poppies represent. We learned that many soldiers now, as well as in the past, help to keep our country safe and we are very thankful for that as it means we can come to nursery with our friends and feel happy and safe.
We have explored different ways of creating poppies whilst thinking about those who protect us.
