Last week we celebrated Children in Need Day.
The School Council have worked hard over the past couple of weeks to plan and organise a fun filled day to help raise as much money as possible for children who are in need.
All children were invited to wear something yellow or spotty for the day. Many children bought raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the many prizes. Congratulations to all of our winners!
Throughout the morning, the children took part in the Run Pudsey Challenge. This involved running part of or a complete mile around the school field. The children did extremely well supporting and encouraging one another as they took part and everyone was delighted to receive their Pudsey medal at the finish line. Well done everyone!
Finally, the children took part in various other Pudsey activities in class and Year 3 made some delicious Pudsey biscuits. It was a fun filled day and a great success.
Well done St. Aidan’s and thank you to the School Council for organising such a successful day.
