In nursery, we have been reading the book ‘Kindness makes us Strong’. We have been thinking really carefully about all the ways we can be kind. In the story, they share chocolate chip cookies and we got to bake some to share together! We worked together to measure and mix and counted to 5 while our friends mixed to make our turns fair. When it came to the chocolate chips, we of course had to taste them first to make sure we liked them, then we took turns to close our eyes and add them into the mixture, making a wish. At snack time, we all chose a cookie, offered it to a friend and remembered to smile and say thank you as we took it. They were delicious. Well done bakers!
