Our PE topic this half term in Year 4 is ‘ Dance from around the world’. We have explored different dance styles from India, Africa, China and America and have enjoyed creating a performance piece to match each of the unique countries.
The children have worked in small groups to create a 16-32 count sequence including canon and change of formation, pathways and levels. They have communicated effectively to ensure each member of the group could input their ideas and also to provide feedback to other groups. Over the last few weeks the children have grown in confidence and have really enjoyed developing their creative and leadership skills when working in small groups and performing.
