This morning, Year 3 have enjoyed making toffee apples on the campfire in forest school. We started off by using a bill hook and a mallet to cut a piece of wood into smaller pieces to start the fire. Then we used wooden sticks to toast slices of apple until they were steaming. Finally, we dipped the apples into cinnamon and sugar to make delicious toffee apples! What a lovely treat.
