This afternoon, Year 6 enjoyed a visit to Side by Side Art music studio as part of their Caribbean music topic. Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about reggae music and have practised and performed both the riff and chords of Three Little Birds by Bob Marley using glockenspiels. Today we were very excited to play the notes of the melody of Disney’s Under the Sea on the steel pan drums at Stuart’s music studio. It was really challenging but we tried our best to play in pairs and as part of an ensemble of musicians.
