This morning, Year 6 enjoyed a frosty morning at Forest School with Phil from Muddy Monsters. Phil showed us how to tie a knot called the round lashing knot to build a tripod. We used these tripods to create tent-like structures with tarpaulin and large sticks or branches to join them. Year 6 displayed wonderful teamwork and problem-solving skills when working independently, in pairs and in groups. They also enjoyed developing their understanding and awareness of risk when moving around Forest School, building, climbing and swinging!
