Children’s Mental Health week

This week in school we have been thinking about our Mental Health, this years focus of Children’s Mental Health was ‘know yourself, grow yourself’. We have been thinking about who we are, what our talents and skills are and learning to shout about ourselves and celebrate ourselves.

Each class focused on different stories such as a Huge bag of worries and The Day the Crayons Quit, to learn more about emotions and feelings. Classes looked at strategies we can use when we feel angry or upset and in assembly children shared how they cope such as going for a walk and finding a quiet space.

As you can see from our photos we have had lots of fun celebrating who we are!
