Firstly, I would like to thank all the parents and carers for attending our online safety session this week. I know all the children really enjoyed showing you their work from the computing curriculum. Secondly, as promised, I have uploaded the information from the session including information for parents about various social media. If you would like further advice or help, please contact the school.
As well as activities online for internet safety throughout the week for all classes, on Friday, Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from PC Bowman from Northumbria Police. He reiterated the importance of staying safe online and consequences if the rules are not adhered to. The message about online safety has been highlighted this week, but the children also receive online safety lessons within their computing curriculum every half term. Let us all use the internet safely, however if the children have any concerns keep passing the message on that they must tell a trusted adult.
