In geography, Year 4 have been learning about four figure grid references. The children learnt and understood the phrase ‘along the corridor and up the stairs’ to help them interpret grid references as well as identify the grid reference to read a map.
The children studied a map of Cumbria and were able to give the four figure grid references for a variety of physical and human features on the map.
