Today was a very special day for a group of children in Year 4 who received Jesus for the very first time through Holy Communion.
The day started with a lovely service led by Rev. Hannah in the school hall with the children’s friends, teachers, parents and carers there to support them. We listened to a Bible reading and prayers read by our friends before the children received the Body and Blood of Christ through Communion.
The children were presented with special certificates and gifts. We finished the service by performing a liturgical dance to ‘May the road rise to meet you’ which was absolutely fantastic.
