On Friday, a group of children were selected to represent our school at the Gateshead Primary School Athletics Festival. A total of 46 primary schools took part in the event.
The children competed in a variety of track events, including the sprint, relay and hurdles, as well as field events such as the long jump, howler throw, javelin and three springs jump.
We are proud to share that the children qualified for 11 semi-finals and two finals, bringing home both a gold and silver medal.
We are incredibly proud of their outstanding sportsmanship, determination and effort throughout the day.
