Year 6 enjoyed a visit to Whickham Thorns Activity Centre! We took part in four activities across the day, challenging ourselves to push ourselves out of our comfort zones and try new things. We impressed our teachers with our courage in climbing a wooden pole and taking ‘a leap of faith’ from a platform high in the air before showing our teamwork and problem solving skills in orienteering. We then developed our strength when bouldering on the indoor climbing wall and used our hand-eye coordination skills in archery.
