The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the end of World War I in 1918. Today, it symbolises a moment to pause and reflect on the bravery of soldiers and the importance of peace. At St Aidan’s we marked the occasion with a Eucharist at school conducted by Rev. Hannah. Some children read prayers and Bible passages, laid wreaths and every single child honoured the 2 minute silence with the utmost respect.
