Friendship Week

This week in St Aidan’s has been Friendship week. Friendships are special and vital for our growth and wellbeing; Friendship Week is a special time to celebrate bonds that bring us together. By celebrating Friendship Week , we remind ourselves that everyday is an opportunity to be a good friend. A task we completed was an artwork piece for our classroom display. We read the book called “The Girls” which is about four girls who meet under an apple tree and sow seeds of a bond that will last a lifetime. We then talked to our friends to see what words they would use to describe us when we were in KS1 and words they would use to describe us now. We reflected on the friendships and relationships we have built and the growth journey we have made together. At the end of the day we also ended up with a marvellous classroom display.
