This morning in Maths, we began our new topic; Time. For our starter, we discussed what we can do or what can happen in different amounts of time. Some of our answers included the following:
1 minute – making a drink
1 hour – taking a nap
1 day – building a large lego model
1 week – completing a 1,000 piece puzzle
1 month – reading a thick book
1 year – completing one academic school year
We then used our whiteboards to convert different amounts of time in seconds, hours and minutes, before completing work in our Maths books linked to the lesson, which also involved problem solving questions.
