In this week’s session of ‘Think Good, Feel Good’, we focused on ‘How we feel’.
As a warm up game, we used 9 pictures of either alpacas, dogs or cats and referred to one of the pictures as to how we were currently feeling and discussed as a group. Some of the pictures showed the animals looking excited, happy, anxious and angry.
We then used a body template to draw and write on the parts of the body of what changes we notice in our bodies when we feel feelings such as; anxious, upset and worried.
At the end of the lesson, we used a feelings wheel, together with a 5 point scale to pointing out big feelings, thoughts and coping strategies that we use when we are feeling this way.
