Yesterday, Nursery and Reception class were so excited to be the first children to visit Forest School this half term!
Phil introduced the muddy monsters at the beginning of the session. Oscar monster enjoys picking up little creatures and listening to what we get up too, whilst Chloe monster who loves paint and Eddie monster enjoys running!
The children enjoyed taking turns on the zip line, swings and hammock. They painted Forest School pictures and some of them even used the paints to create colour on twigs and trees. Some enjoyed making soup and pies in the mud kitchen using grass, bark and mud. Two of the children even built their very own campfire! Our creations were amazing!
We also found lots of little creatures underneath logs. We found lots of long, wiggly worms, centipedes and woodlouse. Some of us were brave enough to pick up the creatures and take care of them for the session.
