This week, Year 4 have been celebrating World Book Week. Our week began with some of our parents and carers visiting us in the school library, where we shared and read some of our favourite books to them.
On Thursday, we took a trip to the Dunston Activity Centre Library, where we each had the opportunity to choose a book to read and bring back to school.
Then on Friday, we dressed up as our favourite book characters and visited Reception class to read a variety of storybooks to the younger children.
We have had such a wonderful and fun-filled week celebrating our love of reading.
