What a beautiful, sunny, warm morning we had at Forest School yesterday! The sun was shining bright, the sky was blue and we watched airplanes flying throughout the sky.
We spent lots of time working together in small teams. We made mint soup in the mud kitchen out of soil, grass and leaves. We also helped each other on the swings, pushing one another and taking turns.
The children also enjoyed using a bow saw to chop wood. They painted beautiful pictures on the logs and displayed these in our Forest School shed. They also spotted lots of small flower buds on trees and wiggly worms in the soil underneath logs.
