In PE this week, Year 6 continued to develop and build on their foundational netball skills.
The children learnt basic ball skills which included throwing the ball with accuracy using chest pass, shoulder pass and bounce pass and catching skills. They worked hard to move into spaces to receive a pass.
Year 6 quickly learnt that netball is a team game, so communication, sharing the ball, and working together are essential. The children learnt to support teammates and make quick decisions.
Primarily, the emphasis was on fun, participation, and building confidence while learning these core skills.
