Yesterday in their Music lesson, Stuart explained to the children in Year 5 that they’d be using basketballs to create rhythm in the hall.
The rhythms we used to the song ‘Natural’ by Imagine Dragons included; eighth notes, half notes, whole notes and half rest.
The children watched the screen and performed the action Stuart showed them that accompanied each rhythm.
Towards the end of the lesson, the children then performed as a class in front of Mrs Gourley who was so impressed by them all! Well Done Year 5!
