This morning, our Reception class children took part in their first Collective Worship.
Their worship was all built on what the children have learnt about this last academic year. Some of the children’s comments were; ‘I can now dress myself’, ‘I now share with my friends’ and ‘I can now climb trees in Forest School’.
They also sang two songs, ‘Power in Me’ and ‘Singing a Thankful song’. ‘Power in Me’ was linked to the children having belief in themselves that they can achieve anything they put their mind too. ‘Singing a Thankful Song’ was thanking God for everything he has given us and expressing gratitude in different ways.
The children performed brilliantly, remembering all of their lines and the words to each song.
Well Done Reception Class. You were all AMAZING!
