Yesterday, it was Year 3’s turn to enjoy a Forest School session with Phil from Muddy Monsters.
With the weather being incredibly hot and humid, Phil said that he had prepared a water activity for the children to have fun with. The children built a water wall out of pipes and worked together to prop it up so that the water flowed down into a bucket. With Phil, some children made boats out of wood from a willow tree, sticks and leaves. The children then placed their boats at the start of the water wall and watched their boats race down the pipe to the finish line.
The children also enjoyed playing on the swings, building shelter to create shade from the sun and collecting apples that had fallen from the apple tree.
