In their Geography lesson this week, Year 1 continued with their topic ‘Our Local Area’ by learning all about houses, in particular, houses in our community.
The children walked down to the school field, each holding a clip board with a tally chart of ‘different types of houses’. When the children spotted a specific type of house, such as; a bungalow or semi detached, they had to mark a tally beside the pictured house. When the children returned back to class, they completed a full tally chart in their Geography books as their book activity.
