Year 5 went on a walk along the River Tyne to investigate the question: How is land used along the River Tyne? The children enjoyed exploring the area, making observations and identifying different types of land use, including residential, industrial, recreational and transport. It was a fantastic opportunity to take our geography learning outside the classroom and see how the River Tyne is used by people and communities.
