Year 4 had a wonderful PE lesson last week! After recapping the different types of passes—chest pass, bounce pass and shoulder pass—the children quickly put their skills into practice during a short game. They worked on attacking the opposition’s goal, focusing on working effectively as a team, communicating with one another and moving into space. The children also needed to watch and listen carefully, using accurate catching and throwing skills to maintain possession and create opportunities to score as many ‘nets’ as possible. It was fantastic to see the children putting their passing, teamwork and communication skills into action.
